Is Let's Encrypt really free?

Yes — Let's Encrypt certificates are completely free. You pay for our automated management service: provisioning, renewal tracking, portal dashboard, and priority support.

How long does issuance take?

Usually 1–3 minutes after payment, as long as your domain DNS points to our server. certbot's HTTP-01 challenge verifies domain ownership automatically without any manual steps.

What happens when the cert expires?

Let's Encrypt certs are valid for 90 days. With auto-renewal enabled, our system renews before expiry. You can also renew manually anytime from your client portal with one click.

Does my domain need to point to VoidPanel servers?

Yes. Your domain's A record must point to the assigned VoidPanel server IP so certbot's HTTP-01 challenge can verify ownership. If you're already hosting with us, this is pre-configured.
